Definitely the best spot in Lexington. It’s affordable and very generous, I usually get at least two meals out if most plates, if not three. My bfs go to is extra spicy general TSO’s and this is one of the first places we’ve had that’s actually spicy enough for him I’ve had schezuan chicken (loved it), sesame chicken (a staple) won ton soup (amazing), beef and broccoli is really good and several of their lo mein /chow meins. All really good, full of flavor and the chow mei fun is good for a change of pace. Lots of veggie options if you’re into that, apps are pretty good—the crab Rangoon is slightly sweet, which is a little different and fun. Love happy china!

Our favorite chinese restaurant in lexington! We've never had a bad meal here and we have eaten there about once a week for 7 years. Everything is delicious. Always ready quickly, great selection, friendly service!

OK, let me tell you about this hidden gem called Happy China. They're located in Eastland Shopping Center(Off Winchester Rd, Lexington, KY, right next door to Save-A-Lot. My family has been eating at this restaurant for over 25 years STRAIGHT. We've had Celebratory dinners, Birthdays etc by means of Happy China. They make you feel like family, folks. You can't get that everywhere. Seriously, the people in the restaurant KNOW my order by heart. They know my face and my name. They are super friendly. You get HUGE portions. We have, YET, to get a bad order. I can't speak highly enough, about the restaurant. They deserve every single accolade! They're on DoorDash! If you're out and about, doing a little shopping, in Eastland Shopping Center or trying to figure out what to have for . I recommend giving Happy China a try. You won't regret it. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calm. It might hold 12-15 people(booth seats) plus 3 seats for people waiting for their pickup order. So, if you go, tell them Tanya a.k.a 'General Tso Extra, Extra Spicy with Chili Peppers' sent you !

BEST CHINESE TAKEOUT EVER. I wanted some good chinese takeout after a long day and all I can say is WOW. I got the orange chicken, vegetable lo mein and the egg drop soup. They even threw in some fried chinese sugar donuts. The food was hot and fresh and sooooo fabulous. I’ll definitely be back and I also recommend this place highly. I never do reviews but this place deserved it.

The general tso chicken isn't spicy but that was perfect. Got take out 30 mins ago.. service was excellent!! The crab rangoon were huge and amazing. The pot stickers were massive and delicious as well. Nothing bad to say here.. and they gave us two bonus donuts that my daughter loved.. it may be in a sketchy part of town but completely worth it..

The portions are huge, and the dishes are delicious. The prices are inexpensive. It’s really an excellent place to eat. In the photo, you can see half of my dish after I had already eaten. We finished the soups, but we couldn’t even finish the noodles and rice. And I love to eat! Still, there was too much food.
